Effective Date: 07/27/2025Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by PetYard Pro ("we", "us", or "our"). By signing up for or continuing to use our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.1. Yard Access and Pet SafetyYard Access:
You, the customer, are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to your yard on your scheduled service day. Gates must be unlocked, operable, and free from obstructions such as snow, ice, overgrowth, or debris. Failure to provide access may result in a charge for the missed visit.
Scope of Service:
Our service is limited to outdoor pet waste removal only. We do not provide pet care services, such as dog walking, pet sitting, or entering your home or any other buildings on your property. We will not secure or handle pets in any way.
Dogs in the Yard:
Many dogs are friendly and well-socialized. If your dog will be in the yard during service, they must be calm, non-aggressive, and comfortable with a stranger entering the space.
If a dog exhibits aggressive, territorial, or unpredictable behavior, we reserve the right to refuse or pause service for that visit. This decision is based on the technician’s judgment and is non-negotiable.If a dog bite or safety concern arises, the customer may be held responsible for any related medical or legal costs.For dogs with guarding instincts or strong protective behaviors — regardless of breed — we may request they be secured during future visits for safety.If your dog will be in the yard unsupervised and has shown past signs of aggression, please notify us in advance and plan to keep them indoors or secured.2. Service Areas and Conditions
We clean all visible pet waste from accessible areas of your yard. If you would like additional areas serviced (e.g., front yards, side dog runs, patios), please notify us in advance. Additional fees may apply.
Yard areas must be maintained to allow visibility of pet waste. Tall grass, leaves, toys, or other obstructions may limit cleaning quality.We will only clean what can be reasonably seen or accessed. If waste cannot be seen or safely accessed, we are not obligated to return for missed spots without additional charge.3. Weather and Safety
In the event of extreme or hazardous weather (e.g., snow, ice, lightning), service may be delayed, rescheduled, or skipped. We will notify you as soon as possible.
Missed cleanings due to weather will be made up or your next visit will include additional time. Regular charges still apply as waste accumulates during skipped periods.4. Payment and Billing
All customers must maintain a valid payment method on file to receive services.
For recurring service plans, billing occurs once per month on a rolling basis tied to your service start date. You will be automatically charged monthly for services provided during the previous billing cycle.If a payment fails or is declined, service will be paused until the account is brought current. We will notify you of the issue and request updated payment information.Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of service and referral to collections.All billing is handled electronically via Stripe. Receipts and service confirmations will be sent to the email address you provide.By signing up, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file according to your selected plan and billing cycle.5. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Vacations
Regular services can be paused, canceled, or skipped via the customer form or by using the cancellation link sent to the customer's phone.
For planned absences (e.g., vacations, pet illness), please notify us in advance. We’re happy to skip your visit, but skipped services are not prorated or refunded.Either party may cancel service at any time. All outstanding balances must be paid in full upon termination.6. SMS Communications
By submitting a service inquiry, you may choose to opt in to receive SMS (text) messages from PetYard Pro regarding service scheduling, status updates (e.g., "on our way", "job complete"), reminders, and other transactional or service-related communications. SMS messages will only be sent to users who have provided explicit consent through our website form.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary depending on your subscription or service type.You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. If you need assistance, you may reply “HELP” or contact us via the customer form.SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. For more details on how we collect and use your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.7. Promotions and Referral Programs
Free First Cleanup is available to new customers enrolling in a regular service plan (weekly, biweekly, or twice weekly). The value of one cleanup will be applied as a one-time discount on your first monthly invoice.
A minimum commitment of 3 billing cycles is required to keep this discount. Early cancellation voids the free cleanup offer and the standard rate will be billed retroactively.All promotions are subject to change. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice for any pricing or policy changes.8. Liability and Privacy
We assume no liability for damage to lawns, gates, fences, pets, or any property unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We may take non-identifiable photos of pets or yards for marketing or social media purposes unless you opt out in writing.You are responsible for maintaining accurate pet information, including temperament and vaccination status.9. Satisfaction Guarantee
We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are unhappy with a cleaning, notify us within 24 hours and we will return for a re-clean or offer a service credit.
This guarantee does not apply to missed services due to locked gates, aggressive pets, or obstructed yards.10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided. If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remainder will still apply.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Customers will be notified of material changes with at least 14 days’ notice.
By signing up for service, you agree to these Terms and authorize us to enter your property for the purpose of pet waste removal.

What does your service include?
We remove all visible pet waste from your yard during each scheduled visit. If you'd like extra areas cleaned (like patios, dog runs, or side yards), let us know — additional charges may apply.
Do you come into my house or interact with my pets?Yes! Life happens — if you ever need to skip a visit (e.g. you're out of town or hosting a backyard party), just give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
No. We only service outdoor areas. We do not enter homes, walk dogs, or provide pet care. If your pet is outside during your service window, they must be non-aggressive and comfortable with strangers.
What if my gate is locked or I forget to unlock it?
We need safe, unlocked access to your yard on service day. If we can’t get in, we may charge for the missed visit.
Can my dog be in the yard during the visit?
Yes, but only if they are calm, non-aggressive, and used to strangers. We reserve the right to skip a visit (with charge) if a dog shows territorial or unsafe behavior. If your dog has shown aggression in the past, please keep them secured.
What happens if it rains or snows?
We work in light rain and most weather, but extreme conditions (ice, storms, etc.) may delay service. If a visit is skipped, we’ll either make it up or include extra time during the next one. Your regular rate still applies.
Do you send text message updates?
Yes — if you opt in during the booking process, we’ll send you text message updates like “On our way” and “Job complete.” These messages help keep you informed about your service status.
How do I stop receiving texts?
You can reply “STOP” to any text message we send. This will unsubscribe you from further SMS updates.
How does billing work?
We bill monthly on a rolling basis starting from your date of sign up. For example, if you sign up on July 10th, you’ll be billed every month on the 10th going forward.
What happens if my payment fails?
We’ll pause service and notify you. Once your payment method is updated and the account is current, we’ll resume your regular schedule.
Can I cancel or skip a visit?
Yes! Life happens — if you ever need to skip a visit (e.g. you're out of town or hosting a backyard party), just use the form here. Or, if it is already the day of service, use the cancellation link in the SMS message sent to your phone.
Because our plans are billed monthly in advance, skipped visits aren’t refunded, but we’re happy to skip that week and resume the following one. No long-term contracts — you can cancel your plan anytime before the next billing cycle.What’s the Free First Cleanup offer?
New customers get a free cleanup when signing up for a recurring plan (weekly, biweekly, or 2x per week). If you cancel before 3 billing cycles, the value of that cleanup will be charged retroactively.
Do you offer any add-ons?
Yes! We offer a Yard Deodorizer Spray add-on for $5 per visit. This safe, pet-friendly treatment helps neutralize odor and freshen up your outdoor space.
What if I’m not happy with the service?
We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If something wasn’t right, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll come back to re-clean or issue a credit.
